about BEACH DAWGS Baseball
who we are
BEACH DAWGS Baseball is a non-profit instructional baseball program focused on teaching young players how to play the game the right way, in a competitive environment. BEACH DAWGS Baseball provides young baseball players the opportunity to fully enhance their skills and potential in a competitive program, designed to prepare them for high school baseball and beyond. To achieve this goal, our players exhibit the desire and talent to excel, and are trained with year-long professional coaching, emphasizing skill development with consistent practice and hard work.
BEACH DAWGS Baseball is designed in such a way that players of all skills levels have an opportunity to learn, grow, and compete. Starting at 8U, players will progressively be taught the game, appropriate to their level. As players advance through the program with age, their training and instruction builds, reiterating what they've been taught, and introducing new concepts.
BEACH DAWGS Baseball seeks to maximize each player's development by offering competition against the best local baseball teams. Teams will not only compete in tournaments, but participate in league play, and double headers at our field complex.
In addition to fielding competitive teams, the BEACH DAWGS are dedicated to teaching good sportsmanship, and providing a fun and positive atmosphere that will result in a lifelong respect and love for the game of baseball in each player.
BEACH DAWGS teams practice 2-3 times per week, learning high level concepts, and developing a feel for the game that allows them to react to situations.
BEACH DAWGS Baseball is a competitive, yet laid back environment. Our players are expected to try hard all the time, stay focused, and come prepared to practice and games.
The program is structured in a way that prepares our players for high school and beyond: players are made aware of failures, successes, and must earn their time in games.
Baseball is a game of failure, and our players are taught to take each failure and success, and use it for their development.
